
Dr. Debbie Seitter is Assistant Professor of Vocal Music Education at Tarleton State University and Choir Director at City Point United Methodist Church in North Richland Hills, Texas. She earned her Doctor of Musical Arts in Conducting from Texas Christian University, where she received the 2025 Graduate Research and Creative Activity Award. Debbie also holds degrees from Baylor University (B.M.E.) and Texas Tech University (M.M.), and taught middle and high school choirs in Texas public schools for ten years. She is the founder and artistic director of umanità Chorale, a nonprofit dedicated to celebrating music by living and historically underrepresented composers. As an active clinician, adjudicator, and presenter, she has worked with Region and honor choirs throughout Texas and shared sessions at TMEA and TCDA.
