Debbie Seitter is a doctoral candidate in choral conducting at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and serves as assistant conductor to the TCU Concert Chorale and Frog Corps ensembles. Debbie was born in San Antonio and graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. In 2020, she received her Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Texas Tech University, graduating summa cum laude. She taught choral music for 10 years at the middle and high school levels and currently serves as the Choir Director at City Point United Methodist Church in North Richland Hills. She is honored to have been an adjudicator, guest clinician at several contests and region/honor choirs, and a session presenter at the TMEA and TCDA conventions. She is a member of ACDA, TMEA, TMAA, and the Pi Kappa Lambda Honor Society. Debbie is committed to sharing music by living composers and those from historically underrepresented or excluded communities, amplifying their voices and celebrating the diversity of musical expression.
